Demo content included with theme package, refers to 6 demo presentations shown on the landing page. The landing page itself is not a part of a theme, it's only there to highlight a few of Skin's best features and to show previews of actual demos.
Hiding the entire header/footer on some page(s) is not among the theme options, but it can still be done with some custom CSS and you can surely use Skin Child theme to override the templates as you like.
On your demo site you have a landing page without any blocks or anything else showing - just a wide page layout.
